In 2013, after working ten years in the public sector in Sweden and at the European Commission in Brussels I decided to start working as an independent consultant and founded Jonathan Olsson Consulting.
I have a Master of Science in Engineering and a University Diploma in Journalism. A combination that has provided me with deep analytical skills and an ability to explain complex matters clear and comprehensible to a broader public.
Over the years I have gained knowledge through a variety of different positions and areas of responsibility, spreading from analytical reports and public inquiries to lecturing, media contacts and participation in international working groups and negotiations.
As a consultant I am specialised in providing advice, expert knowledge and analysis relating to EU law, focusing on various aspects of coordination of social security and cross-border healthcare, i.e. necessary or planned healthcare received during a temporary stay abroad.
Jonathan Olsson Consulting have been awarded a new contract with the European Commission, DG Health and Food Safety, to analyse the national transposition measures in Czechia, Slovakia and Spain for the purpose of the implementation of Directive 2011/24/EU on the application of patients’ rights in cross-border healthcare.
I currently work with a number of different clients, of which some can be found below. Below can also be found examples of clients whom I have previously worked with.
Jonathan Olsson Consulting provides specialised trainings on different topics related to coordination of social security and cross-border health care within the EU. The trainings are tailored to meet the specific needs of your organisation. To meet your requirements I will have a close dialog with you before the training to learn more about your organisation and your expectations on the training.
Please contact me for further information about different training options, booking requests and prices.
